Vans Duct Tape Festival South Shore Affair

As much as we love the North Shore of Oahu and its gut punching waves, sometimes is nice to get out of the "country" and hit the town. That's exactly what the Vans Duct Tape Festival did this year with the team riders, crew and friends having a blast in the South Shore, more specifically at Ala Moana Bowls and Kaisers.

Dane Reynolds, Wade Goodall, Joel Tudor, Michael February, Karina Rozunko, Nathan Fletcher and many others traded waves and noserides, while feeling the vibes of Waikiki with beautiful Diamond Head in the backdrop. In the meantime, Steve Van Doren flipped burgers and fed hungry sunburnt surfers. Ahhhh, gotta love Hawaii...

After the session was wrapped, the team headed to the artsy district of Kaka'ako, Honolulu, for the season premiere of Dylan Graves' Weird Waves, at SALT. It's pretty safe to say that the good times and sushi continued to roll.
